3 Steps To Optimize Your Facebook Ads

Are your Facebook ads not delivering the results you hoped? Well, that could be the result of completely missing your target audience.

By far, the number one thing you want to narrow down, if you want your money to be well-utilized, is your target audience. Follow these three steps and ask yourself important questions to narrow down your audience on Facebook.

1. Gather your audience’s attributes

Get to know your audience. Facebook provides statistics in the “insights” section of your business page. Take a gander through to get to know who you’re reaching.

Questions to ask: Who is your target customer? Where do they live? How old are they? Are they predominately male or female? What language do they speak? Do they fall into a specific demographic? What are their interests? Where do they spend most of their time online?

2. Split test with different audiences

Don’t spend your entire ad budget into one Facebook ad. Instead, make multiple audiences and test which ones work best. This will help in the long run to get you more bang for your buck! Take it one step further and use VIDEO split testing. Video was HUGE in 2017, and has no signs of slowing down in 2018. So, make sure you do it right by letting us produce your videos, so you can market them correctly.

3. It’s all about your content & copy…

Once you pinpoint your target audience, it’s important to fine-tune the copy of your ad. The content could be the best you’ve ever had, but without a message that resonates with your target audience, it will fail.

It’s also important to use different imagery to reach separate audiences. Remember: No one really likes being sold to on social media. The more you can make your copy and imagery interactive and fun, the better.
